“Unminted Coins” is a growing collection of coins that started in 2008. These coins, collected on flee markets, found on the street or donated by friends, underwent a process of “unminting”, perverting the established relation between value of representation and the material or economic value. “Unminted Coins” is an active exercise of devaluation and an economy of erosion.
