Interrupted Circuit

Color prints, collages

2006

All the wood found in the building 89 of Cuernavaca street in Mexico City, was used to generate an unstable, precarious and fleeting construction. The material was accumulated shaping a suspended circuit that goes throught all the second floor until it is interrupted by the adjacent walls. The main idea in the piece is circulation and disruption or cancelation and the shape of the piece is the resultant of it’s confrontation (of materials and it’s economical state, of the movement thru the floor, of the view or of any activity of the workers in the building).

The piece disappeared while the building was partially demolished. Multiple fotos, prints, collages and drawings remains from this exercise. The measures are variable.
